We saw all sorts of controllers from Xbox, and the company has recently added a new controller to the Fire Vapor series.
Unfortunately, the launch of this controller was met with controversy, so here’s what happened.
Recently announced Xbox controller drops the Feel the burn tagline
As you may know, Microsoft has recently closed several Xbox game studios, and this decision left many gamers upset because their favorite studios shut down.
To make matters worse, Microsoft has announced a new member of the Fire Vapor Special series of Xbox controllers on the same day, with a tagline Feel the burn today.
Following the closure of several beloved studios, this tagline didn’t sit well with gamers, so Microsoft was quick to drop it.
We don’t know if this was Microsoft being cheeky with its tagline or if was it unintentional because the controller has a distinct fiery design.
However, it’s certain that fans didn’t find this amusing, and the tagline has since been removed.
