Handheld gaming PCs have exploded in popularity, with ASUS ROG Ally being one of the most popular choices for gamers.
Since this handheld has a massive community, it’s no wonder to see mods such as this one that add additional functionality to the device.
This ASUS ROG Ally mod brings an extra screen to the device
While ROG Ally is a great device, its screen size can be a problem for many. However, this might change as ASUS has teased ROG Ally 2 recently.
According to PC Gamer, Kira Patel managed to attach a 7-inch 1024×600 IPS panel to the ROG Ally thanks to the magic of 3D printing.
To connect the two, she used a USB-to-HDMI adapter and stripped it down so it could be installed in the display casing.
Next, she used a clamshell system that was 3D printed to attach the screen to the Ally ROG. This allows her to use the second screen as a stand when not using it.
