Microsoft released KB5034122 for Windows 22H2, and while the package doesn’t bring any new features, it comes with important security updates, so users should consider installing it as soon as possible.
While Windows 10 22H2 will reach the end of support in less than 2 years, Microsoft will still update it past the date of October 2025, for a price. However, until then, the Redmond-based tech giant will keep releasing updates for it.
Recently, Microsoft released Copilot on Windows 10, in a bid to amass more users for the AI tool. As expected, Copilot on Windows 10 has some issues, and Microsoft documented them in the list of known issues for KB5034122, as well, as the Redmond-based tech giant hasn’t released any solutions to fix them yet.

- This update addresses an issue that causes your device to shut down after 60 seconds. This occurs when you use a smart card to authenticate on a remote system.
- This update addresses an issue that affects the display of a smart card icon. The icon does not appear when you sign in. This occurs when there are multiple certificates on the smart card.
